Meet Lucas! A Dauntless-born initiates instructor. He may not be your favorite choice of instructor though. He is someone who is very strict when it comes to training and is definitely not someone who easily accepts a 'No, I don't want to do it.' He is usually grumpy and probably looks tired most of the times because he doesn't sleep that well at night, because he suffers from nightmares ever since he went to the fear landscape as an initiate. His fears inlcude: falling, losing someone, his parents, getting blamed for something, becoming factionless, the fear landscape, ghosts, darkness, showing weakness and butterflies. YES. Butterflies. Did you know that they are a symbol of Thanatos? Death? See. He has a reason to fear them plus they aren't exactly adorable if you take a look closer. That makes a total of 10 fears which is not exactly a low number but he tries to deal with them. But the fear landscape is his least favorite place which sadly, he cannot avoid.

He wasn't always the grumpy and cold-hearted boy though. He actually used to be a kind-hearted and warm person who loved to show all kind of emotions. If you find the right key to his heart you may meet that person again.

Lucas will probably have a large anti-fan base and not just a few enemies. They will have many reasons to dislike him and perhaps start fights which he wouldn't say no to.

Friends will have a hard time with him but I wouldn't see he has no friends, even though they might be more like simple aquaintances to him but a few good friends don't hurt.

Here we have Max! He is currently living as a Factionless (former Dauntless initiate). even though he left his birth faction abnegation he is not as selfish as others would think. it is actually a trait which has ever been part of him. ever since he is factionless he shared his food and clothing with other factionless who needed it more than him. he cares about others more than it seems. that boy is a hard-working individual who takes every job he can get. running around every day because he has so much energy. he is pretty optimistic albeit losing his faction and family.

he is a risk-taker meaning that even if there is something others would never do, something dangerous for example, he would still do it. his stubborness adds to it. adventures are something that make life interesting. sneaking into other faction sectors without official permission.

He is actually a nice guy so I am sure he will have many Factionless friends. I could see a strong bond between him and someone from another faction. As for enemies...of course there will be a few, especially those from factions He doesn't trust most of them and dislikes the whole system. He is a rebel and trouble maker. I'm thinking of causing some trouble within factions?

Clare is probably one of the rare bubbly and cheerful Dauntless. She is a non-stop talker and won't shut up unless you tape her mouth shut. She is an optimistic and thinks positive most of the time - no matter what situation. That girl is impulsive and doesn't know what patience is. She cannot sit still or wait which could cause trouble for her and others. But on the other hand she is competitive and fueled with determination. During a fight she won't give up, she will continue no matter how the situation looks. That said, she might not be the greatest fighter but she is quick on her feet which she uses to her advance. Growing up in Dauntless didn't help her not being scared. In fact she is easily scared and sensitive. A negative comment or mockery here and she will bawl her eyes out. She really doesn't like surprise attacks. Oh, did I mention that she is very forgetful? Tell her to do something and if she doesn't within an hour she'll forget it. However, if you want her to keep a secret that's totally no problem! She will forget it anyway.

vincent is what seems like your average dauntless guy. he acts cocky and arrogant around his fellow pals as if they influenced him. he can be competitive being a strong and pretty decent fighter himself but unless others he is systematic and a thinker. he does not like being reckless but rather thinks of strategies and plans.

he is brave and courageous as you would expect from a dauntless member but there are things he fears such as losing his family, falling off the train, heights, needles, suffocating and more. he is definitely not entirely fearless but he knows how to act fearless.

his fatal flaw is being a worry-wart. he feels as if he needs to protect everyone he holds dear, especially his younger sister. he constantly worries about people even though he might not show it, but those who really know him know that he does. being a big brother himself he is very caring as well albeit it doesn't seem like that at first. having been trained at a young age he became disciplined and does not break any rules.

he can be very jealous and easily misunderstands others jumping to the wrong conclusions. what makes it worse is that he is a pretty bad liar, hence why he prefers to just shut up instead of saying anything.

Growing up in Candor like any other he sees most of the things in black and white. The truth is very important to him and he does not like being lied to. This boy can't lie to save his life. Even though he usually doesn't even try if he does it will end up in either stuttering a whole lot or awkward silence afterwards.

He has a loose mouth and can be pretty blunt, not shying away from saying his opinion or just commenting on things no matter who it is he is talking to. He doesn't care what others think whether they are mad, ignore it or actually think it's great. It just happened to be that way. He could just be passing by but if he hears someone talking about something he cannot resist not to say something.

Despite being a Candor he has severe trust issues because he knows everybody lies. It's hard for him to become anywhere near close to others and usually ends up pushing them away or just keeping them as 'simple aquaintances he talks to once in a while'. He doesn't exactly favor keeping to himself all the time.

Being brutally honest and commenting on things which are none of his business would probably earn him lots of enemies considering not everyone likes to hear the truth. Someone who constantly lies would make it on the list as well. He's not one who picks fights or even bothers lifting his hand, so anyone who is provocative won't be in his favor.

Friends are quite difficult to acquire for him as he has trust issues and doesn't let anyone in so easily. It would take some time for him to open up but if anyone could bear with the constant truth he's telling he wouldn't mind at least trying to make friends.

As for romance I have no specific plots in mind so if you have any ideas shoot!
