SOPHIA MADELINE LANTIERI-- 18 -- CANDOR full name: Sophia Madeline Lantieri nicknames: Soph age: 18 faction birthplace: Candor current faction: Candor sexuality: Pansexual occupation: Lawyer play by: Emma Watson
Sophia is honest; quite clearly considering she is in Candor. She has always valued Candor's traits, and never wanted to leave. Her honesty has caused her to occasionally be unkind or brash, but she believes it's all for the better good. She is also quite intelligent, and excels in the academic field. Sophia finds it difficult to make friends, but it's not out of not wanting them. She has always wanted friends, but they seemed to have eluded her. Apparently honesty isn't always the best policy when it comes to making friends, especially with how truthful Sophia can be.
mother: Lisa Lantieri father: Steven Lantieri siblings: A younger sister other: history: Sophia was born in Candor, and was always taught to tell people exactly what she was thinking, which in turn has turned her a little brash with her words. She had always been intelligent growing up, and had no problems with telling the truth. It was simply second nature to her. Her extreme truthfulness caused friendships to be a little tense, but she always believed that people should like you for who you were, honesty and all. She never showed much interest in relationships, as she wanted a good job and therefore believed that she must study hard in order to do so. A part of her, however, always wondered if truthfulness was always so incredibly necessary. She kept these thoughts to herself, however, but even at the back of her mind she grew concerned that these thoughts might get her factionless. Her test results had yielded her a good match for Erudite, but she chose Candor, and was extremely successful within her initiation, allowing her to become a lawyer, and a rather well-known one fairly quickly. Sophia keeps up her truthfulness, but this turns her into occasionally not being very kind. She sometimes wonders if Erudite would have been the better match, but she tries not to dwell on it for too long in fear that she will eventually speak what is on her mind. Candor is all she knows, and she's determined to stay there.
Remus’ coming of age party. It was wonderful, and Sirius had been plotting this for quite some time. Everyone was invited, naturally. His first inclination was to not invite Slytherins, but then he remembered that Monika herself was a Slytherin, so that simply could not do. His party theme, however, would no doubt keep most of the snakes away: a Guys & Dolls party, where the men dressed up as women and the women dressed up as men. It would be a lie to say that Sirius didn’t already have some women’s clothing lined up, but he wanted it to be extra special, so he went out and bought a new outfit. He bought one for Remus, too, so that the boy would have no reason to not to dress up. Well, he supposed Remus might reject the idea as too silly and therefore just ignore the event altogether, but Sirius hoped better for his friend. Besides, he had picked a dress that would hide many of Remus’ scars, so he lost that excuse as well.
Decorations had been a trickier idea, because it was just people cross dressing. How did you decorate for that? He set up a photo booth like contraption in the corner that people could set off with their wands just so everyone could have a momento. He had whipped up a large bar that ran along the one wall of the common room, and had a tremendous amount of alcohol stationed at it, along with some water for those who wanted to stay hydrated. He didn’t even bother with the pretence of setting out punch. No one would be drinking juice at a coming-of-age party! He also placed ash trays along it and a couple of good cigars. He had bought two excellent quality cigars for himself and Remus.
Sirius hoped the party would go off without a hitch. Along with some of the specific decorations, he also had blown up regular balloons and put up streamers everywhere. Little birds flew around, although technically not alive and real. One of the balloons may or may not have been a blow up doll dressed in the same bikini that Sirius intended to wear.
Which, of course, was Sirius’ costume for the party. He had decided on a rather peculiar bathing suit that suited his purposes. He stuffed the bra cups with a couple of melons, but his greatest difficulty was hiding his junk. Bikini bottoms were not made for a man’s junk. He struggled with it for quite some time, but finally decided on a Speedo that did the trick… mostly. Whatever, he was comfortable with who he was. For his head he had placed a long, thick black wig of impeccable quality. Sirius glanced at himself in the mirror and realized that the hair looked like it actually belonged to him! He even got one of the Gryffindor girls to do his make-up beforehand, full with fake eyelashes and the whole bit. He had decided on a pair of dark green pumps that matched the bikini. With a twirl around the mirror (in which he nearly twisted his ankle), he decided that it was time to officially start the party.
It started quite late in order to avoid many of the younger students. Sirius gripped the handrail for dear life, and entered into the decorated common room. He started the music on the giant contraption that McGonagall used (that he had decided to borrow) and then made himself a large Cosmopolitan at the bar as he welcomed the party-goers. Hell, if he was going to dress like a woman, he’d be damned if he wasn’t going to enjoy a couple of girly drinks!
