Anita, though she looks pretty and like porcelain, is actually one tough cookie. She doesn't take any non-sense and can easily kick ass if she has to. Coming from Amity has allowed her to have mercy when she fights and has allowed her to not fight out of anger but out of duty to her faction. Her biggest weakness would have to be fire but she's learning to not let her fear control her because that is what Dauntless is about, knowing your fear but not letting your fear affect you. Most of her life, she has dreamed of being an artist and so, she has taken up work in the tattoo shop for her job after initiation.
Ambition is one thing that drives this girl, she has her eyes set on her goals and she will do what it takes to achieve those goals.

Anita was born in Amity although she never really fit in there, often, she'd be found getting into fights with other kids and would spend a lot of time in time out. She hated it there. Her parents tried to raise her to be gentle and caring, just like her sister but she wasn't like her sister, she was a fighter and ambitious and would do whatever she could to get what she wanted. When the choosing ceremony came, she surprised her parents when she chose to join dauntless as her aptitude test had advised her to do and during initiation, she did alright. She wasn't the best in the class but neither was she the worst in her class. She proved to be a good fighter and a dauntless member, always putting faction before blood.
Rain pattered upon the ground as Ashes hurried through the district towards the library, a book clutched tightly to her her chest as she ran. Where had this rain come from? Just a few days before the sun had been baking hot and she'd longed for rain but now that it was here, she longed for it to go away. She didn't have work today, a rare day off when the head doctor told her to take a day to herself and there was no other place she'd rather be than in the library reading. Tempus was closed today so she couldn't go there and work on her lines for the upcoming play so instead, she hurried towards the place of knowledge she loved so much.
Her dirty blonde hair was dripping wet by the time she made it to the library and she deposited the book into the drop box. Wringing her hair out, she stepped inside to feel the warmth of the heaters which quickly dried her hair off into a bit of a frizzy mess. She sighed, hating the fact that her hair was always unruly and went through the aisles, searching for a new book to read. Her eyes landed upon a dusty cover that seemed to beckon to her, it was a rare plants book and she was known for loving to learn about the different plants.
She picked up the book, dusting off the cover, and went to find a seat somewhere quiet, loving the sound of the rain on the ceiling. She found a quiet corner and settled down, cradling the book in her lap as she opened it. She leafed through the pages and took notes on the different ones, what they looked like and what they were used for in her notebook that she usually carried with her everywhere. The sound of quiet footsteps brought her attention back to reality and she looked up to see a girl around her age with curly dark hair. She smiled, not really wanting to be interrupted but not really minding at the same time. "Hello" She said softly, keeping her voice down because they were in a library.
