personality: Asa is a man of very different moods, putting on whatever type of act he has to put on. Kind & friendly, closed off and untalkative, he's all of them. It depends want mood he is in. He can be the fearless Dauntless boy who isn't afraid to get into a fight and stand up for himself. He's actually quiet good at that. Fighting and feeling no guilt about it later is something he is good at. Yet, Asa has an emotional side but tries to keep it hidden though he does act on his emotions. It often get's him in trouble. He's not the most flirtatious, even with his supah attractive looks. He's more mysterious and closed off from how he is actually feeling.

history: Asa grew up on the family values any Dauntless family would have. The fact that bravery was honorable and everyone was your family, even people not related to were some things his mother taught him and stuck with him forever. His mother and father raised him together and he played and worked along with his sister. Sierra was someone that always protected Asa when he would pick fights with bigger kids on the playground. It was something he always looked back at and laughed. He knew that Sierra would be someone he could always count on.
Every little kid had their partner in crime, especially in Dauntless. Asa's was named Grey or who he liked to call Huddy. Him and Huddy did everything together from playing pirates and princesses to jumping off the train together for the very first time. They were inseperatable and everyone knew it. It wasn't just Asa or just Grey. It was Asa and Grey, always together - best friend for life. From falling of bikes to school dances they tackled it all. Middle school was akward for them considering they got made fun of with the stupid kissing song but it never broke them. High school came and Asa couldn't help but grow a flinging more then friends for her. He felt like they owed it to themselves to figure out if it could work. But the first time he kissed her, he ran away like a little boy and pretended it never happened.
His test results were as he expected, Dauntless. The family legacy would be passed on from his sister to him. It was what he thought he would do his whole life, and he thought that his best friend would be their right along side him. But when the Choosing Ceremony came it was exactly what they said it would be, a dollar coast. The day is too clear to him. The clicks of his heals echoed through the room, and he slit his finger. As his blood sizzled with anger on the hot coals of Dauntless, his smirk traveled from his family and turned into a smile with his eyes reached Huddy. But his smirk turned into a look of disbelief when she slit her fingers on a the dark stones of Abnegation. It was a complete shock to him and he swore a tear shed when she didn't look back at him.
At first, anger fueled his fire. The first part of initiation was him best. He had trained for it his whole life. With ever person he knocked out was anger he felt for Grey leaving him. How dare she leave him. She promised she would stay with him, he felt betrayed in a way. The worst part was that every kid that begged for mercy he didm;t feel sorry for. Not one ounce of guilt, he only felt sorry for himself. How selfish he really was. His anger led him to number one of his class for Dauntless born.Asa knew that Grey would have been up there with him but instead he was fighting to keep his broken heart from falling away from him. And though he should have felt excited that his was number one, it was anger that ran though his brain. Uncontrolled, and unjust anger.
The second part of initiation was when his anger slowly turned into sadness. His sister visited him one day and asked how he was coping. Asa's sister was his rock, someone he could talk to about him feelings that he didn't tell Grey, well mostly feeling about Grey. The conversation was small talk until it lead to Asa yelling, hitting walls then retracting into tears. Loosing someone was hard, she was just so close but far out of reach. Sierra suggested to go visit her, and he took her advice like he always did. But, when he visited the Abnegation fraction he choked when he fought a glimpse of her and turned around. Seeing her was too much of a hear pain to manage.
His fears were something that gave his whole dorm as well as himself nightmares. His first day he experienced something that set him back in the training. The fear seems so real it scared him. The war torn city was in chaos but he was fine. But as he looked around everyone he loved was dead. His mother, father, sister were all motionless on the floor. So was Grey. The tears and racking over their dead bodies seemed so real. He was so helpless. When he woke they said he was in the dream for 10 minutes straight alone. It left him scared silly but by the time he made it to the 3rd and final part he had pretty much could manage his fears of ; snakes, being rejected, giving presentations, not being able to defend himself, failure, being alone and loosing his family and not being able to do anything about it, Asa took the job as a tattoo artist, since Grey always told him his talent of drawing should be put to good use.
