Josslyn stepped inside the tattoo parlor with a curious expression on her face. It certainly wasn't something she would've done back in Abnegation, but after transferring to Dauntless, she might as well look the part. Still the idea of having a needle on her skin made her feel a little uneasy, but she wanted a tattoo because it signified that she was transitioning into a Dauntless. She didn't know what to to get exactly, she had never been in here before, but she had seen quite a few different tattoos on the other Dauntless. Joss had decided that she only wanted to have one, prior to entering the parlor. She only needed one, and whatever one she chose would also have a piece of her father in it. Her thoughts immediately went to dancing, but it seemed kind of silly, she would have to find something else.
The young woman glanced at the options available, her lips pressed together in a firm line as she tried to make a decision. It was harder than she had originally thought, there were far too many tattoos and the ones she had seen so far weren't exactly what she was looking for. The girl's graceful steps had her flitting about the parlor in a brisk speed. Each tattoo option was briefly scanned over by her flickering eyes before she went over to the next one. It was a relatively grueling process - there was nothing wrong with the tattoos here, there just weren't what she had in mind for her one and only tattoo. It had to be beautiful, strong and exude bravery - that was the criteria she had for it.
If you would have told her a year ago that she would be lurking in a tattoo shop searching for the right one, well she probably wouldn't of believed you. She had felt trapped before, like a caged bird restricted of flight. When the first signs of freedom came she took it and somehow it had led her here to Dauntless. Her father's faction…would he be proud that she chose it? Joss would like to think that he was, but she would never know unfortunately. Her wide green eyes flickered again as she reached another wall, searching it's contents for a particular tattoo. She wasn't sure if she would find one that met her criteria…but she would try. She just hoped that she found one soon.

Playing with the rip in her jeans, Anita sat in one of the tattoo parlor chairs, waiting for something interesting to happen. Ever since the initiation had ended, she'd been so bored with just sitting in her shop waiting for new members or old to step in and get themselves inked with something permanent. She'd been sitting there for over an hour since her last customer had left and she didn't really know what to do except maybe hang out and wait. It was the hurry up and wait game, a game she'd never liked as it was much too boring for her tastes. She'd rather go on an adventure or something like that than wait for people to come by. I'd love to go out but if I leave and someone comes, my boss will kill me she thought. At seventeen years of age, she was in the prime of her life but perhaps she'd made the wrong decision in deciding to be a tattoo artist, as much as she loved to be one.
The sound of someone moving about the parlor pulled her out of her thoughts and she stood, a smile pulling at her lips as she made her way out to see who it was. Surprisingly, it was one of the transfers, she didn't know the girls name but she recognized her from initiation. She'd come from Abnegation which was unusual but not unheard of. Anita smiled at the girl and approached her, wondering what she was in here for. "Hello, what can I help you with today?" she asked, trying not to startle her.
